Bluetooth marketing at the airports

I ve just come across another article about proximity marketing services at the NOLA airport.
Guys at New Orleans have seen that LCD monitors campaigns are not so successful and they start thinking about digital media and mobile marketing. They have incorporated in their campaigns' strategy the idea of Bluetooth. Currently they send information about accommodation and dinner at the city.
It is very encouraging to read about the implementation of such ideas. I know that AIA at Athens, Greece will soon have a system like this and passengers and visitors will be able to be informed about flight information, flight delays etc. I also know that Coopenhagen airport will soon have a similar platform.
