SMS Complaints Service in the Super Bown XLIII
Written on Wednesday, January 28, 2009
The U.S. Super Bowl XLIII is fast approaching and many people in the marketing world are eagerly awaiting the event, mainly to see the what and how big brands will do for promotion.
Alongside this, many marketers, and especially those of us in the mobile marketing field, are expecting to see which mobile marketing approaches will be used more, which will become more established, and if any new ones will emerge by getting used for the first time in such a large venue and event.
SMS marketing is a pretty standard mobile marketing approach, but it is also being used to provide a number of services. One such, simple but pretty useful service will be offered during the Super Bowl XLIII and will be made available to all fans through their mobile phones.

Fans will be able to text issues right from their cell phone directly to the security command center in Raymond James Stadium in Tampa Bay, Florida. The ISS Text Messaging System allows fans to have a voice, and allows the venue to handle issues quickly and effectively.Again, nothing groundbreaking about this service, but I like it when I find simple and useful uses for existing technologies. Still, I really want to see if anything will happen in the proximity marketing sector.
Text messaging is the simplest tool in giving fans a voice and allowing venues to act upon the issues. The ISS platform allows for venues to increase their efficiency in handling those issues and allows them to connect with their fans in a way that most of us are already very familiar with -text messaging. According to Jeffrey Miller, the NFL's director of Strategic Security, "If there's someone around you that's just really ruining your day, now you don't have to sit there in silence. This is an easy and discreet way to report a problem to stadium personnel so that it can be addressed in a timely manner."

Thanks Bob, good to hear!
I really hope something a bit more exciting will come along in this year's Super Bowl to provide a point of reference for mobile marketing!
For example, the 'First Super Bowl on Mobile Phones' would shake the waters a bit, and so would a proximity marketing campaign with live content (like replays, for example) on the mobile phones of the people in stadiums.
From what I've seen so far though, and with the current worldwide economic conditions, it's looking kinda slim...
Anyway, yeah, I guess in order to get there, SMS marketing and the like will first have to become more widely adopted and the standard really, so that we can then build on that.
And now we're on to the next super bowl. We'll see what this next one entails, as a new year has furthered the mobile marketing industry.
Mobile marketing has somewhat escaped (from what I've seen) the big downfall from the credit crunch, so I'll look around to see what's planned for this year's SuperBowl. If anyone out there has any hints / is involved, feel free to share!
Dear investors,
Why we invest in stock/share market? Think about it…
Just to make some profits, do we truly make profits!!!
Think Think and Think
I have been in Share market for last 10 years and able to make good profits only by investing for long long term basically with Mutual Funds and shares of good company and forget them for least 3 years for past two years I thought of investing in F&O got existed by returns of F&O and lost every thing some 8 lacks rupees apart for paying for TIPS of various companies like calloptionputoption, Trade4target, Nifty Direct etc (if there TIPS are true then why they are not Multi Billionaire and there should be no poverty in this earth ha ha ha ha)
So My advise is please please don’t invest in F&O category don’t be day trader don’t fool yourself by paying on TIPS of various advisers… don’t ever invite this new stress syndrome it will definitely ruin your life, you can’t fight market which is in hands of FII and they direct market and you can’t carry position as M2M loss will be calculated daily
Rakesh Jhunjunwala, Warren Buffet are not day trader they are rich because they have invested in right company for long long time as Rakesh Jhunjunwala believed in story of TITAN industries, PRICOL and invested for long period , if u have plenty money then donate to some charity etc u will really feel happy in heart…
Cheers,
